It’s true, isn’t it? I really believe that the simpler, the better in most things for our home. This theory works for everything from mealtime, to organization, decorating, and yes… even flowers!
I make floral arrangements almost weekly, none of which are a lot of effort, but they bring me so much joy. Honestly, I just love the way they make both me and our home feel.

How to Arrange Flowers
- Begin with a nest of your greenery. We like seeded eucalyptus, as it creates the best base for all of our blooms – a cage of sorts to nestle the flowers into.
- Cutthe rose stems (or your featured bloom of choice) at an angle so they can enjoy fresh water (at least an inch, but I removed 4″ from these stems).
- Removed leaves that would fall below the neck of the vase.
- Next, simply place the stems into the water, with the head of each rose nestled right over the edge of the vase. They will gradually create their own shape as you fill in the arrangement.
- Each bloom will naturally lay in your nest of seeded eucalyptus. Just a couple adjustments of pulling a stem and placing it between others for a full look and you’ll have a beautiful, dramatic centerpiece. The always drapey seeded eucalyptus did the rest of the work.
