What Is A Crafting Set Station?
A crafting set station is a crafting area that allows you to craft a specific set piece of armor. Often there are additional requirements, like a number of traits that must be researched before you can make an item of a specific set. While you can make generic pieces at crafting set stations, these are the only areas where you can the specific set that is listed. There is one exception – attunable crafting tables (which are ‘tuned’ to replicate set stations) can be obtained and placed in houses for use.
On your map, crafting set stations appear with a blackened crafting icon when you are close to a location. Once the set station has been visited, the icon turns white.

How To Obtain Overland Set Pieces
Players are rewarded for each boss kill with item/items from that boss’s loot table.
- Delve bosses drop a waist, foot, or another unique item piece.
- Overland World Bosses drop a head, chest, leg, weapon, or unique item piece.
- Public dungeon bosses drop a shoulder, hand, weapon, or unique item piece.
- Chests at Dark Anchors or Dolmens drop a jewelry set piece.
Even with Curated Item Set Drops, bosses with a specific loot table will only drop curated items from their own loot table. Treasure chests have a chance to grant any set piece from the zone they are found in. Click here to learn more about curated set drops.

Mythic Items
Mythic items are powerful items that have special bonuses for every single piece. These items are available by completing groups of master difficulty Antiquity leads.
What Is A Delve?
A delve in The Elder Scrolls Online is in essence a small dungeon. Delves usually contain a few enemies, at least one ‘boss’, and a skyshard. Delves can generally be completed solo. If you are a new player, you may want to explore delves with a friend. Most delves have an associated quest that you can get just inside or near the entrance. This quest is more a side story to the main quest of the area but does offer rewards for completing it.
On your map, delves appear with a blackened single torch. Once the delve is completed (by defeating the boss or bosses), the delve icon turns white.

Apogee of the Tormenting Eye
A semi-organic extrusion of Apocrypha, the Apogee thrum’s with scholarship dipped through occultic arteries. The Remnant claimed the building as an archive, through the Black Book at its center has been missing for decades.

In Apocrypha, travel northwest from the Apogee Nadir Wayshrine to located Apogee of the Tormenting Eye.
Hungry for Knowledge
I found a member of the Remnant named Zirokh standing outside the Apoge of the Tormenting Eye. He’s worried about Dremnaken invading the Apogee and devouring its knowledge. I agree to rescue some artifacts and purge the Dremnaken.
Zirokh handed me a rune that hums with energy. He said I can use it to close the Dremnaken portals and reactivate the shrine’s protective wards. I should ascend the Apogee to begin my work.

Inside Apogee of the Tormenting Eye
Apogee of the Tormenting Eye is inhabited by armored Dremnaken. This delve has one level, one boss, and one skyshard as notated on the map.
Supernal Trespasser
Supernal Trespasser is a large Dremnaken. It bites, pounces, spits flames, and creates flaming aoes on the ground. During the battle, it summons flame atronachs which explode when destroyed. Avoid the aoes when possible. Ranged attacks work well.
Completing Hungry for Knowledge
You will need to close the portals, reactivate the protective wards, and defeat the Supernal Trespasser. Speak to Zirokh to complete the quest and you will be rewarded with gold and Tormenting Robes, part of the Vivec’s Duality armor set.

Travel northwest from the Forlorn Palisades Wayshrine in Apocrypha to located this delve.
Destiny’s Tide
I came across a lost High Elf sailor named Landolvel that washed ashore at Fathoms Drift. He has asked for my help in finding his father, Naanurrel, the ship’s captain.
Landolvel and I need to search Fathoms Drift for clues as to the fate of his ship, the Opulent Gale, and of Landolvel’s father.

The Lightkeeper
The Lightkeeper is a large lurker. He spits on the ground creating aoes that spawn dangerous tendrils. He can be interrupted. Avoid the aoes when possible. Ranged attacks work well.
Completing Destiny’s Tide
You will need to Landolvel’s father and defeat The Lightkeeper. Speak to Landolvel to complete the quest and you will be rewarded with gold and Lokout’s Breeches, part of the Vivec’s Duality armor set.
Quires Wind
The dark tomes created by Hermaeus Mora’s Daedra are written with ink that takes ten years to brew, on paper pressed from trees that have never seen the sun.

Madness In The Wind
The scribes of Quires Wind, mortal and Daedra alike, have gone mad. Cripher Agrushna believes corrupt scrolls hidden among the stacks are responsible. I agreed to enter Quires Wind and destroy the scrolls for her.
I need to make my way into Quires Wind to find the strange scrolls Cipher Agrushna wants me to destroy.

Cipher Gelon
Cipher Gelon uses a destruction staff for ranged attacks. During battle he creates very large aoes on the ground. Ranged attacks help keep you out of the aoes but melee attacks work well. He can be interrupted.
Completing Madness In The Wind
You will need to destroy the corrupted scrolls and defeat Cipher Gelon. Speak to Cipher Agrushna to complete the quest and you are rewarded with gold and Daleforge Pauldrons, part of the Adamant Lurker armor set.
The Disquiet Study

Turning A Page
I came across Ysgild and her brother Vorm, who somehow turned himself into a floating book. Ysgild believes that the secret to turning Vorm back into his normal form can be found inside The Disquiet Study.
Vorm’s cryptic clue hinted that Ysgild needs to gather their family’s favorite books. Ysgild prefers adventure books, Vorm enjoys scientific tomes, and their mother was an avid reader of histories. we can find the books in the study.

The Disquiet Study is inhabited by Firepot Spiders and Venomous Fabricants. This delve has one level, one boss, and one skyshard as notated on the map.
Uzur the All-Seeing
Uzar the All-Seeing is a large watcher. He brings his arms close to his body then spins and rams you unleashing his arms for a heavy attack. During the battle, he also summons a void mother, the wrath of crows, and whirlwinds. Avoid the aoes when possible. Focus on the adds.
Completing Turning A Page
After finding the favorite books, restoring Vorm to his original state, and defeat Uzur the All-Seeing. Speak to Ysgild to complete the quest and you will be rewarded with gold and Gleaner’s Solace, part of Vivec’s Duality armor set.
What Is A Public Dungeon?
Public dungeons are a type of dungeon that is non-instanced. This means that it can be accessed by anyone at any time. These dungeons are more difficult than delves. Public Dungeons contain at least one skyshard and often a group challenge that rewards a skill point. Each public dungeon also offers its own quests and achievements.
On your map, public dungeons appear with a blackened cave. Once the public dungeon is completed (by defeating the bosses/mini-bosses and all associated quests), the public dungeon icon turns white.

Castoff Destinies
Ogle, a Watchling in the service of Hermaeus Mora, mistakenly sent a glyphic into the Underweave to be destroyed. Fearful of the dangers within Ogle asked me to help him retrieve the glyphic from the Underweave.
I should escort Ogle into Underweave and help him locate his master’s fated glyphic.
Completing Castoff Destinies
You will need to locate the glyphic. Speak to Thaddeus Cosma to be rewarded with gold.
Completing this quest will also reward you with the Sacred Watcher Hood costume.
Inside the Underweave
The Underweave is inhabited by Darkreave warpriests, ogrims, dremnakens, and seekers. There are three levels, six bosses, and one skyshard in this public dungeon as notated on the map.

All-Seeing Ky’zuu
All-Seeing Ky’zuu is a large watcher accompanied by Hushed Bloodfiends located in the Underweave Courtyard. This boss servers as the group boss for this public dungeon.
Mechanics
All-Seeing Ky’zuu uses his many arms for heavy-hitting attacks. He also creates electrical aoes on the ground that spawn tentacles that not only hold you in place but also damage you heavily. All-Seeing Ky’zuu additionally will use his eye to laser beam in your direction. Avoid the aoes when possible. Ranged attacks work well.
Caz’iunes the Executioner
Caz’iunes the executioner is a darkreave warrior located in the Underweave Courtyard. The dungeon’s skyshard is located closest to this boss as notated on the map.
Mechanics
Caz’iunes the Executioner pounds the ground creating aoes. He uses a battle axe for heavy-hitting melee attacks. He is easily defeated.
Creepclaw
Creepclaw is a large lurker that is located in the Underweave Courtyard.
Mechanics
Creepclaw has heavy swipes and stomps the ground creating aoes. He also spits poison onto the ground that grow tentacles. Avoid the aoes when possible. He is easily defeated.
Kynreeve Kev’ni
Kynreve Kev’ni is a darkreeve warrior and is located in the Underweave Heart.
Mechanics
Kynreeve Kev’ni creates flaming aoes on the ground that explode. He also summons flame atronachs and flame daedra to aid him in battle. Flame atronachs also explode when destroyed. Avoid the aoes when possible. Ranged attacks work well.
Loremaster Trigon
Loremaster Trigon is a seeker located in the Underweave Malifactory.
Mechanics
Loremaster Trigon summons whirlwinds of books to circle him. The whirlwinds will knock you off your feet. As with all seekers, Trigon also splits into two separate seekers. Focus on the individual seekers and then turn your attention to Loremaster Trigon. Avoid the whirlwinds when possible.
Qacath the Silent
Qacath the Silent is a darkreeve warrior accompanied by other darkreeve enemies and is located in the Underweave Nulifactory.
Mechanics
Qacath the Silent unleashes a ton of aoes. Some are electrical and some are fiery. The fiery aoes explode. Focus on the adds first, then range attack Qacath avoiding the aoes when possible.
Achievements
Defeating all the champions in the Underweave will reward you with the Underweave Conquerer achievement.
Defeating The All-Seeing Ky’zuu will reward you with the Underweave Group Event achievement.
What Is A World Boss?
World bosses are powerful enemies often with their own unique abilities. They sometimes require groups of players to overcome. World bosses in DLC zones are significantly harder than other base game bosses.
On your map, world bosses appear with a blackened skull and crossed swords icon. Once the world boss is defeated, the world boss icon turns white.

Valkynaz Dek at Chthon Plaza
In Apocrypha, travel north from the Feral Gallery Wayshrine to locate Chthon Plaza.
Mechanics Notes
Valkynaz Dek is a powerful Dremora who has many Dreamcarver enemies to aid him in battle. The most damaging of these are the ones who use bows. Focus on defeating them to minimize your incoming damage. Valkynaz Dek also summons lighting clouds creating aoes. Avoid them when possible. Ranged attacks work well.
Achievement Earned
The first time you defeat this world boss you will earn the Dreamcarver Demolisher achievement.
Deepreave Quag
In Apocrypha, travel south from the Fororn Palisades Wayshrine to locate Deepreave Quag.
Mechanics Notes
Vro-Kuul-Sha is a large lurker. He spits heavy damaging poisons and summons tendrils that will suck the life out of you if you step in their aoes. Vro-Kuul-Sha also summons smaller lurkers to aid him in battle. Avoid the aoes when possible. Keep the adds down, and be aware of the poisoned ground.
Achievement Earned
The first time you defeat this world boss you will earn the Deepreaver Destroyer achievement.
The Prime Cataloger at Libram Cathedral
In Apocrypha, travel northeast from the Tranquil Catalog Wayshrine to locate the Libram Cathedral.
Mechanics Notes
The Prime Cataloger summons Hushed enemies and Shadow Mages to aid him in battle. He also creates damaging whirlwinds of books that circle the room. during the battle, he will split into several shaded versions of himself. Look for the version that does NOT have a shield. This is the only one you can damage. Keep the adds to a minimum and focus on the shade without the shield. Avoid the aoes when possible.
Achievement Earned
The first time you defeat this world boss you will earn the Catalog Crusher achievement.
Runemaster Xiomara at the Runemasters Acropolis
In Apocrypha, travel northwest from the Speiran Tarn Wayshrine to locate the Runemasters Acropolis.
Mechanics Notes
Runemaster Xiomara is a Dremora who uses his arcanist abilities to their max. In addition to launching runes and teleporting around the room, he also creates many poisonous aoes. Note the outside watery edges of the room will do damage if you venture off the platform. Runemaster Xiomara also summons Abyssal Trendils and a Shard of Chaos which will launch very painful green mortars at you! This is probably the most difficult world boss in this zone. Avoid the aoes when possible. Destroy the Shard of Chaos when it appears, then return your attention to the Runemaster.
Achievement Earned
The first time you defeat this world boss you will earn the Runebreaker achievement.
What Is A Wayshrine?
Wayshrines are shrines that were built to honor the Divines by being a safe haven point where players can revive if you die while adventuring in Tamriel. Once you visit a wayshrine, it becomes available on your map for you to use to fast travel at no cost. You can also travel to any unlocked wayshrine from anywhere in Tamriel for a price paid in gold. This price reduces with time and also can be reduced by champion point allocations. Each zone begins with one available wayshrine.
On your map, wayshrines will appear with a blackened wayshrine icon when you are close to its location. Once the wayshrine has been visited, the icon turns white.

What Is A Skyshard?
Skyshards are glowing crystals that provide you with 1/3 of a skill point. Collecting 3 skyshards grants you 1 skill point which can then be used for abilities and/or passives.
On your map, skyshard will appear with a blackened skyshard icon when you are close to its location. Once the skyshard has been collected, the icon turns white but then disappears from your map.
Once you collect all the skyshard from the zone, you will earn the Auridon Skyshard Hunter achievement.
Apocrypha Skyshard Locations
There are a total of 11 Skyshards in Apocrypha.
Skyshard #1 – on a cliff top sitting on a ritual table
Skyshard #2 – at the top of a waterfall
Skyshard #3 – in the center of a stone helix
Skyshard #4 – on the left path through the Central Orphic tunnels in an alcove near the Northern Orphic Tunnels entrance
Skyshard #5 – at the foot of the endless Library’s Climbing Vine
Skyshard #6 – on the deck of an old ship wreck
One skyshard is also found in each of the delves and one in the public dungeon. Maps with exact locations are provided in those sections.
Bastion Nymics
The World Events in this area are called Bastion Nymic. A Bastion Nymic is a new type of world event released with the Necrom chapter in Q2 2023. Nymics are for groups of up to four players. These areas are considered Apocrypha’s most mysterious and heavily defended fortress rumored to protect some of Hermaeus Mora’s greatest and most dangerous secrets.
Players will need to seek out Ordinator Tandasea in the city of Necrom who tasks them with collecting Daedric Ichor from unique monsters called Hearld’s Seekers. Once you’ve collected enough Ichor (your group needs 5 in total), you can proceed to one of the portal edifices in either the Telvanni Peninsula or Apocrypha to finally gain entrance to the bastion. The Hearld’s Seekers are not easy encounters. They are very similar to World Boss difficulty.
When you finally gain access to the fortress, you will encounter Mora’s corrupted minions ready to defend it. The encounters are designed for groups of four, it is a little more forgiving than a typical dungeon. The final confrontation with the Herald will have a few unique boss mechanics. Repeated assaults on the fortress will result in additional rewards and challenges. There are also secrets and side puzzles in each of the fortresses’ three quarters.
On your map, edifices appear as this symbol with a plus denoting this is a group event.
Herald’s Seeker Tips
- Herald’s Seekers are powerful.
- These seekers summon lurkers, nightmares, and other enemies to aid them in battle.
- Be sure to loot the defeated seeker.

Inside the Bastion Nymic
When you enter into the Bastion Nymic, you will begin near the center of the map. There are three distinctic regions:
- Dreaming Quarter – located in the northcentral area
- Plagued Quarter – located in the southeastern area
- Subverted Quarter – located in the southwestern area
Each area has enemies that need to be defeated to open pathways allowing you to proceed further.
Vhogor the Pestilent
Vhogor the Pestilent is the boss in the Plagued Quarter. During the battle, he summons other ogre brutes, ogre shamans, and Kindred Stinger enemies to aid him. He has very damaging hits and pounds the ground creating tons of poisonous aoes. Avoid the aoes when possible. Focus on the adds. Ranged attacks work well.
Kynmarcher Strix
Kynmarcher Strix is the boos in the Dreaming Quarter. During the battle, he summons Dreamcarver enemies to aid him in battle. The Dreamcarvers are powerful mages. Focus on keeping their numbers down. Strix also splits into three shadow versions. Focus on the original while this is happening.
Eater of Secrets
The Eater of Secrets is a lurker accompanied by two seekers, Condundrum and Enigma. Conundrum stays in the middle and can be easily avoided. Enigma creates path aoes where he flails his arms and runs over anything in his path. This can be easily avoided by stepping aside. The Eater of Secrets is the most aggressive of the three creating poisonous aoes and spawning tendrils that cause additional damage. Focus on the Eater of Secrets first, then Enigma, and finally Conundrum.
What’s Next?
Once you have defeated your quarter’s boss, a portal will open taking you back to the middle where the ‘final’ boss will appear.
At this point, you may either challenge the final boss OR proceed to explore the other areas. If you choose to challenge the final boss, the nymic is considered completed and the remaining bosses will disappear.

Shalidor’s Library is a collection of lore books in Tamriel. Reading lore books within this collection increases your Mages Guild rank.

What Is A Treasure Map?
Treasure Maps are rewards that show the location of special chests that can only be seen when you have the map in your inventory. You must travel to the specific location, dig the dirt mound, and then a chest will appear for you.
Treasure Map locations do NOT appear on your map. You can slot the maps for quick access to compare your location.

Apocrypha Summary
In addition to the main quest line, Apocrypha also offers many side quests, acquire zone-specific armor sets, visit points of interest, and striking locales.
Apocrypha is the underworld of the Telvanni Peninsula.
