In V Rising, there are magic abilities and vampire powers you can acquire throughout your journey. These abilities can affect your health regeneration, boost your elemental resistance and damage taken, allow you to shapeshift, or increase your travel speed. This guide will list all of the unique abilities and vampiric powers you can collect.
How Magic Abilities Work
Magic Abilities fall under five different categories or affinities: Unholy, Frost, Blood, Chaos, and Illusion. You are not limited by the type of spells you can use, so you can choose any spell combination you want that matches your play style. Your action bar allows you to choose two Basic Abilities, one Travel Ability, and one Ultimate Ability.
It's important to note that these abilities can only be unlocked by defeating certain enemies, therefore some abilities cannot be obtained until you reach higher levels.

Blocking an attack heals you for 30% of your spell power and triggers a wave of energy that pushes enemies away, dealing 100% magic damage. | Crimson Beam | Effect: Channel a beam of energy that deals 150% magic damage to enemies hit, and heals allies for 100% of your spell power per second for up to 4s. Each target hit heals self for 25% of your spell power. | Defeat Raziel the Shepherd |

| Veil of Bones | Effect: Dash towards input direction and elude nearby enemies for 2.2s. Your next attack launches a projectile that deals 25% magic damage, bouncing up to 4 targets, and inflicts amplify that increases damage taken by 25% for 5 seconds. | Defeat Goreswine the Ravager |

| Spectral Assassin | Effect:Summon a Spectral Assassin at target location that performs a heavy melee attack dealing 125% magic damage to nearby enemies, knocking them back and weakening them, reducing damage output by 30% for 5 seconds.. How Vampire Powers Work
There are 10 Vampire Powers that you can acquire in V Rising. These powers can be unlocked by defeating Bosses and V Blood carriers. Like Magic Abilities, Vampire Powers can boost your elemental resistance and damage taken, increase your travel speed, grant shapeshifting abilities, or affect health regeneration.
It's important to note that Vampire Powers can only be activated when you are not moving.
Vampire Powers

| Bear Form | Effect: Turn into a powerful creature able to destroy massive resources. Increases your resistances by 25, movement speed by 15%, and reduces damage taken by 25%. You regenerate health slightly quicker while in this form. | Defeat Ferocious Bear |
| Human Form | Effect: Turn into a human allowing you to sneak around unnoticed in human settlements. Be careful though, the strong-willed can see through your disguise. While in human form you can interact with traders. Human Form greatly increases blood consumption rate. | Defeat Beatrice the Tailor |
| Bat Form | Effect: Turn into a bat and fly high into the air allowing you to cross impassable terrain. Cannot be used while carrying resources, while indoors, and requires a valid landing location when exiting the form. Beware of the sun! | Defeat Nightmarshal Styx the Sunderer |
| Toad Form | Effect: Turn into a toad able to jump high into the air. Taking damage breaks the effect. | Defeat The Duke of Balaton |
| Blood Hunger | Effect: Allows you to instantly recognize the blood type and blood quality of nearby units. | Defeat Tristan the Vampire Hunter |
| Expose Vein | Effect: Lower your guard and allow other vampires to drink your blood. Splits your blood pool in half as you share your blood and blood type with another vampire. | Start with this Ability |
| Blood Mend | Effect: Consume 0.2 liter of blood per second to recover 4% of your maximum health. | Start with this Ability |
| Dominating Presence | Effect: Grants you seductive abilities allowing you to charm enemy targets. You cannot use normal spells while in Dominating Presence. | Complete Servants Journal Quest |
