How do you answer an inmate call? ›

Yes, calls can be received on both your cell phone and land lines. Any incoming call can be accepted by pressing “5” when prompted.

Caddo Parish, LA – Steffon Jones was officially sworn in as the new Commissioner for District 6 during a special meeting of the Caddo Parish Commission on Monday, April 15. Jones, who previously served on the Caddo Commissioner for District 6 from 2021-2023, was elected to the seat by Caddo voters on March 23.

After that, you either need to have a credit account that they can pay for their calls from or they need to buy a “phone card” (that is, phone time).

you can't receive collect calls on your cellphone. the calls from Jail has to be prepaid before your able to call people. in some cases the inmate has to add your number to an approved call list.
