Who is Hiro's best friend? ›

Ando Masahashi is an office worker at Yamagato Industries and Hiro Nakamura's best friend. Ando artificially gained the power to amplify other super human's powers.

Power Augmentation: Ando obtained the ability to supercharge others' abilities, which manifests in the form of red energy resembling electricity.

FAMILY: Father: Kaito Nakamura (deceased). Mother: Ishi Nakamura (deceased). Older sister: Kimiko Nakamura. Best friend: Ando Masahashi.

Ando discovered that in the future he was killed by Sylar. Ando went after Sylar but was easily overpowered, dropping the 9th Wonders! comic book that depicted Sylar being killed by Hiro. Sylar laughed at the suggestion that Hiro could ever defeat him.

Karmi and Hiro are young students at SFIT that have a bit of a rivalry, despite Karmi having a crush on Hiro's alter ego, that she calls "Captain Cutie" in her Big Hero 6 fanfiction; while Hiro is put off by it.

The series finale ends by opening the nonexistent "Volume Six: Brave New World" in which Claire reveals the existence of people with special abilities to a group of reporters and photographers.

His main concern is Hiro's wellbeing. His marshmallowy design is not ideal for subterfuge, but he helps and supports Hiro – even when Hiro makes mistakes. Baymax also teaches Hiro what is important, and worth fighting for.

In the original Big Hero 6 comic Hiro had a crush on Aiko (who's code name is Honey Lemon) but the two were never really romantically involved and had a team working relationship.

As children, Hiro is always seen as the smarter of the two despite his age, and Tadashi originally expresses slight jealousy, though he grows out of it with age.
